蜜桃社's goal is to prevent all forms of sexual assault. As a community, we pursue this goal by fostering a campus environment where everyone is empowered to keep the community safe, and where students understand and demonstrate effective consent.

If an assault occurs, the college’s first priority is to provide prompt, effective, sensitive assistance to students who report having survived a sexual assault, and to protect other members of the community from harm. The college strives to empower the student reporting an assault by allowing her or him as much control over decisions about notification, medical or other treatment, filing of criminal charges, and other matters as the law, Reed policy, and individual circumstances allow.

Reed students who are survivors of sexual assault have the following rights:

To receive appropriate medical care
To receive confidential counseling and support
To report an experience of sexual assault to the police
To report a sexual assault to Reed community safety or other staff
To engage relevant legal and judicial proceedings
To engage in Reed’s honor process
To request a no-contact order and get heip with safety planning
