How To Support Reed Students

Together we can help Reedies through the pandemic.

By Claire Michie | June 17, 2020

Whether they are in the classroom or on the front lines of social change, Reed students don't shy away from tough conversations and taking action. Despite the challenges our community—and world—have been facing, Reed students are adapting and mobilizing to bring about the change they want to see.

This fortitude and adaptability is possible because of a large community of donors (alumni, parents, friends, faculty, and staff) who support Reed students and the college. However you direct your gift, when you choose to give to Reed, you support students as they navigate the days and months ahead.

Inspired by our students, and hoping to inspire your support, a group of alumni and friends (see sidebar) has offered to match every gift dollar-for-dollar (up to $1,000) for the entire month of June.

A gift to the Social Justice Research and Education Fund will support students who want to study privilege and power, civic engagement, equity, critical race theory, and other topics.

A gift to the Student Emergency Fund will go directly to help students in crisis

A gift to financial aid ensures Reed can continue to meet 100 percent of full demonstrated need for every admitted student—even as financial need increases in the coming years.

A gift to the Annual Fund will go immediately to work where it’s needed most.

Please help celebrate our students and ensure the strength of Reed—all while doubling the impact of your gift. Make your gift by June 30.
