Media Relations

Public affairs is the primary point of contact between the media and 蜜桃社. Public affairs responds to questions from reporters; pitches stories about Reed to the media; and maintains a news digest on the college's website.

Guidelines for Media Access

Reed is a private liberal arts and sciences college that welcomes members of the public to campus for admission tours, canyon visits, and many events. While the college is committed to transparency, our first priority is to provide balanced, comprehensive learning and living environments for our students that honor a reasonable right to privacy.

Media wishing to cover events or report on other stories at Reed must contact the RW Jones Agency and the public affairs office for authorization. Generally, media are required to be accompanied by college staff while on campus. When Reed has issued a press release for an event, prior authorization is not required.

The college may limit or decline outside news media access to campus with or without prior notice, including but not limited to situations that involve emergencies or failure to comply with college policies.

The college cannot guarantee complete privacy or anonymity at public events.
